A Greater Understanding of Things Around You

Sometimes in life, we will be able to see the same pattern recurring. Life is such that, once you learn, it will stop repeating and it will give you even bigger challenges.

That is called growth. To experience growth, you have to have a certain level of understanding, and also a certain level of acceptance of that particular event.

This is one of the things that I learnt, through my mentor, through the book I recommended and also through my own soul searching.

Acceptance is very important, because it's not an easy thing to do.

People change to be a more excellent or a worse version of themselves through time. Not many will be able to realize this, but lucky for those who do.

The challenge for those who do is, to be patient when going through this process.

They say, Life is the Exam. You progress higher each time as your understanding deepens, just like how people started out in Nursery and end up writing a thesis.

When you're faced with a challenge, it's really important to accept it as a challenge, and that you will overcome it. It will be painful, but it's rewards are really awesome.

All of us have tough times, but how many of us will come out of it stronger?

2016 - A year of spiritual awakening

For those of you who are still looking for answers, perhaps this book will help you.

We discussed this book during our morning meeting, and I was surprised that I was able to resonate with many things in the chapter that we discussed. I hope to finish reading the book by this month, if not earlier.

New Year, New Me!

Every year, we all have resolutions. Every year, we will benchmark ourselves and see if we give up halfway or if we achieved the goals we set.

This year, I only want to achieve inner peace and personal growth.

No more resolutions about running, or jumping or skipping, etc.

Today, I re-iterated that money is just a tool. For those who appreciate money, they don't hold on to it.

Actually everything in our lives are borrowed - Our house, our food, our gadgets, etc...

If we look beyond ourselves, all these are minuet. Everything is borrowed. The Universe gifted us with what we have, so that we will be able to share it with others and not keep it for ourselves.

This year will be an amazing year of spiritual awakening.

I wish everyone a successful 2016, blessed with abundance in every form, good health, prosperity, inner and outer peace, happiness, growth and also a fighting spirit so that you will be able to continue to do what you love.
